Interior Architect/Designer

Whether a home, restaurant, office building, winery, rowing club, children’s museum, hotel, or a homeless shelter - the common thread within all this work has been an unwavering commitment to design excellence.

We are currently seeking to fill an Interior Architect/Designer position. The ideal candidate is a talented enthusiastic, team player who is an experienced Interior Architect or Interior, focused designer. We look for candidates who have a curiosity and passion for pushing the boundaries of design.

Our team members have the opportunity to work on projects of varying types and scales so the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and to foster innovation and creativity is one of the most important attributes of this role.

The right candidate will use a wide variety of mediums including Revit and SketchUp to quickly conceptualize and communicate design ideas. Vetter Architects is committed to employing creative, self-motivated design professional who can utilize current technologies to achieve design excellence.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proficient in the use of 2D/3D software, including Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Abode Creative Suite, and Illustrator. Understanding of other modeling and rendering software such as Podium or similar also desired.

  • Prepare detailed working drawings from design schemes to plans & digital models using computer aided design (CAD) software, Revit and SketchUp.

  • Ability to produce exceptional renderings in SketchUp, Podium, & Photoshop

  • Advanced design visual and graphic presentation skills.

  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, and specifications.

  • Participate in selection of FF&E, color palettes, material presentation and specifications.

  • Attend client meetings and coordinate with construction project managers and other design disciplines.

  • Maintain and update the material library and meet with product manufacturers' representatives.

  • Prepare presentation drawings as required
